The scientists prepared a mission to be able to steer the asteroid that hit Earth in the future

To prevent an incident asteroid hit Earth, the European Space Agency and NASA collaboration a mission to save Earth.

Aida will conduct missions designed to test portfolio that can change the asteroid's orbit or not. The first asteroid scheduled to test, named Didymoon which has a width of 160 meters.

Aida mission is divided into two smaller missions other mission Aim (Asteroid Impact Mission) led by The European Space Agency. AIM mission will send a spacecraft to make measurements of the asteroid Didymoon scale, such as mass and density. It will also record the changes of the orbit of the asteroid, too.

The second mission is Dart (Double Asteroid Redirection Test) led by NASA. NASA will make shooting a barometer into the asteroid Didymoon to survey the asteroid impact could cause effects. Then they will attack the asteroid, and AIM's shuttle mission control about changes change the asteroid's orbit after being attacked by Dart mission.

According to scientists at a meeting held in France, said the mission Aida is scheduled to start in October 2020.
